We are now seeking a Trainer/Assessor to deliver White Card/Traffic Control/Traffic Management.
- 2-3 days a week
- White Card Training: 25 locations among Victoria
- Traffic Control/Management venue: Thomastown/Lalor/Clayton Training Centre
- Regular class schedules available
Duties of the successful applicant include:
- Ensure all training delivered meets the requirements of the Training Package, industry requirements and VET Quality Framework.
- With the support of our foundation skills Trainer and managers, assess and address the learning needs of students.
- Complete all required preparation and non-teaching tasks associated with the delivery of training, including all administrative tasks and the provision of reports as requested.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Holding the competency of the unit: CPCCWHS1001 - Prepare to work Safely in the construction industry (or CPCCOHS1001A) is essential.
- Holding current White Card
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (equivalent or higher) is essential.
- Holding the Competency of the unit: CPCCWHS2001 (CPCCOHS2001A) - Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
- For the applicant who would like to teach traffic control/traffic management, we also request the following qualifications include but not limited to -
- Holding the Competency of the unit or equivalent: RIIWHS205E - Control traffic with the stop-slow bat
- Holding the Competency of the unit or equivalent: RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plans
- Previous experience in delivering White Card/Traffic Control/Traffic Management.
- Work with Children Check
- Possession of a current valid Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive is required.
To be a successful applicant, you will be required to meet the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards for trainer/assessors (TAE40116 or equivalent).
