The Alice Springs site is constantly growing. We are looking for an experienced trainer to work full time hours across Monday - Friday to deliver basic Language, Literacy, Numeracy & Digital skills (LLND) training through the Skills for Education & Employment (SEE) Program, and to assist with networking with local organisations and stakeholders in the region for student referrals.
The Position
As a SEE Trainer your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and contextualised language, literacy and numeracy training.
- Provide flexible delivery, adapting resources to meet the individual needs and learning goals of clients.
- The ability to problem solve and overcome challenges to meet the requirements of the contract.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders and be able to market the SEE Program.
- Undertake accurate assessment and record keeping to ensure compliance and consistency.
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a current TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher level adult education qualification.
- Hold the Foundation Skills Upgrade Units (or ability to obtain).
- At least 100 hours of Adult education experience.
- An understanding of and respect for diversity and Indigenous Australian culture and customs.
- A minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations are mandatory.
