Trainer & Assessor - Mining Production

Chandler Macleod are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Assessor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in training and assessing Mining Production operators, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.

• 8:6 Roster - DAYS ONLY

Key Requirements:

• Cert IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116): Mandatory for all applicants.
• Minimum 2 years mine training experience: Proven ability to deliver effective training programs in a mining environment.
• Minimum 5 years mine production operating experience: Extensive hands-on experience in operating heavy mining equipment.

Required Equipment Expertise:

• Excavator - Liebherr 9400/996/9600
• Loader - Komatsu WA1200
• Dozer - CAT D10/D11
• Essential: Significant experience operating Liebherr 9400/996/9600 excavators.
• Experience with the Frontrunner autonomous system is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs for Mining Production operators.
• Conduct assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational proficiency.
• Utilising your extensive experience in operating heavy mining equipment, including excavators, loaders, and dozers.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to production operators.
• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture within the training and production teams.
• Ensure adherence to industry and company regulations and company policies.
