Mayfield Education is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Operating Theatre Technical Course Trainer and Assessor. You will be working with highly qualified and experienced members of the Education Team at Mayfield Education.
Principle responsibilities:
Training and assessing in the units of the course.
Incorporate adult learning principles to provide innovative and engaging learning experiences to course participants.
Manage and support Operating Theatre Technician students and provide high level of customer service regarding their progress and individual learning needs.
Participate in consultancies, redevelopment, validation and RPL process.
Qualification and Experience
- Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician course or equivalent
- Formal qualification in Vocational Education – minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment [TAE40116] or its equivalent
- Significant experience as an Operating Theatre Technician.
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to use MS Office.
