Job Overview:
We're in search of a motivated and experienced Trainer Assessor to join our New South Wales team looking for an immediate start. Starting on a casual basis, this role offers the potential for permanent employment and leadership opportunities. You'll be instrumental in delivering competency-based training across the Mining, Construction, and Rail Industries, acting as a key representative of Onsite Training in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver competency-based training on mine sites across Mining, Construction, and Rail Industries.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Onsite Training in New South Wales, engaging with both new and existing clients.
  • Facilitate Induction, Supervisor, and First Aid Training sessions.
  • Provide top-tier training to major businesses (e.g., BHP, Anglo).
  • Maintain professionalism, manage client inquiries, and conduct customer meetings.
  • Deliver TAE products as part of our holistic training approach.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A passion for learning and commitment to a long-term career in training.
  • Proven experience in delivering training within the resources sector.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Desirable: Standard 11, Supervisor Competencies (S123 & G2), Other Operational Competencies.
  • Required: Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
  • Desirable: Diploma in Vocational Education Training.
  • Demonstrated ability to train groups effectively.

Location Options:

  • Work-from-Home (WFH): Enjoy the flexibility of remote work, coupled with onsite delivery over 3-4 days or face-to-face classroom teaching. In-between delivery periods, work from home focusing on outreach, training preparation, and marking.
