The Opportunity
Our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team have embarked on a journey to roll out a Global across the 8 regions in which our teams operate. As a key member on this project embedded with the Health and Safety team, joining on a 6 month contract onsite at the Homebush West offices, play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and informative Training Content that empowers our team members to embrace the change and utilise the workflows.
As this position is tailored for the project, we offer flexibility in terms of engagement options, including Fixed-Term Employment or Independent Contractor arrangements.
Using a variety of tools such as Articulate Story line, Rise, Adobe In Design and Photoshop you will assist the team to create a number of different communication and learning materials such as User Guides, Quick Reference Guides, eLearning (SCORM) modules and audio, Presentation Packs, Train the Trainer packs and so on.
To achieve this, you will:
- Take ownership of project tasks to meet deadlines and proactively address challenges
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define clear learning objectives, gather information, confirm learning requirements across audience groups, and validate system steps and business introductions for training material development
- Create and prepare draft communication and materials in various formats such as Intranet banners, posters, and PowerPoint templates to support business engagement activities, including readiness for deployment, training, and go-live transitions from current to future state
- Incorporate trending instructional design principles and multimedia skills to integrate elements like audio, video, simulations, and role plays into the content
- Create and produce SCORM-compliant eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Design and develop a comprehensive suite of interactive learning exercises, business context scenarios, quizzes, assessments, and surveys to gauge learning outcomes and collect feedback
- Create adaptable storyboards, learning materials, and eLearning content easily customizable for diverse personas and audience groups.
- Perform routine internal evaluations of learning materials to verify the precision of system procedures and processes, as well as their continued relevance
- Proven experience within corporate training and instructional design
- Demonstrated experience in developing captivating and inventive learning materials through various styles and delivery channels
- Expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design theory, diverse instructional methods, delivery options, and evaluation methods
- Possess advanced written communication abilities with impeccable grammar and spelling, alongside exceptional graphic design, and layout skills, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail
