Your new role

As the dedicated Training Knowledge Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely technical support to our Customer Group staff, while contributing to their ongoing technical development through coaching and training initiatives.

You will be responsible for developing, scheduling, and evaluating a range of formal technical training programs using contemporary methods. Working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders, you will aim to understand and apply complex legislation and adjust training materials accordingly. Collaborating with the team and communicating clearly will help you in delivering complex training material in individual or group settings, fostering an inspiring learning environment.

To be successful in the role, you will regularly review training material and technical content to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. This will help identify opportunities to improve and enhance support offerings to CSC and continue our approach to continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to excel

  • Australian Citizen with the ability to hold and maintain a baseline clearance
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs is essential
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring and providing feedback
  • A detail-oriented approach with the ability to review and improve training material consistently
  • Proactive mindset to identify opportunities for improvement in technical support offerings
  • Sound computer literacy, particularly in relation to Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in developing content for e-learning modules and preparing content for various platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
