About the role:

We currently have a permanent part-time opportunity available for an experienced Training & Verification Coordinator working 2 days per week.

You will be coordinating the verification of competence (VOC) program across the Corporation and assisting when required to manage the ‘on-the-ground’ verification of competence programs to ensure successful delivery.  

With your proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, you will be ensuring reporting and compliance records are maintained and key stakeholders are kept informed and engaged at all stages of the program.

What the role involves:

·        Ensuring workers VOC assignments are aligned to their role specific profiles around mobile plant and high-risk work tasks

·        Administering the training needs analysis (TNA) process for whole of business as related to the VOC program.

·        Evaluating TNA to design, implement, and schedule a working roll out plan for each program delivery

·        Managing training logistics where required such as scheduling attendees, event creation, date, time, location, cost, catering and notification.

·        Use training and document management systems to effectively maintain compliance and ensure data integrity.

Key Skills and experience:

Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be important in this role. You will have experience in applying relevant workplace safety and health legislation and guidelines, along with using training and procurement systems.

You will have the capability to communicate, drive and influence others. A strong background in training is highly desirable, but not essential as your excellent problem solving skills, ability to learn concepts quickly, and able to work well under pressure will be well regarded.
