Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager - Transaction ServicesLocation: Sydney, AustraliaCompany: International Accountancy firmSalary: Very competitive salary and benefits packageAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager or Manager to join a rapidly growing Transaction Services team in Sydney, Australia. Reporting to the Head of Transactional Services, you will play a crucial role in performing buy-side and sell-side due diligence procedures and compiling detailed reports of findings. This includes conducting detailed quantitative financial analyses, assessing key business risks, evaluating historical trends, and preparing and analysing forecast cash flow and other financial data.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage commercial transactional financial due diligence projects.
• Assist with drafting accounting-related clauses in SPAs, EBIT normalization, and working capital calculations.
• Manage multi-jurisdiction teams and coordinate with other experts engaged in the project.
• Actively pursue business development activities to grow the Transaction Services portfolio.
• Manage the Transaction Services team, providing training and mentoring to junior staff.

• Must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or hold a current valid Australian working visa with full working rights.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably with mid-tier or large firms within Corporate Finance.
• Extensive experience in commercial transactional financial due diligence.
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and drive commercial outcomes for clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
• Team player who can motivate, and inspire, with a strong inclination to train junior staff.
