We are excited to present a unique opportunity for a talented Transactional Accountant to join their Sydney-based office on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Key responsibilities of the Transactional Accountant, will involve managing essential financial processes, including:
- Processing Accounts Payable transactions.
- Overseeing Payment runs.
- Conducting Bank reconciliations.
- Producing and maintaining aged creditor and PO status reports.
- Managing employee expenses.
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving payment queries.
- Maintaining bank accounts and opening / closing bank accounts.
- Training and supporting new finance system users.
- Assist in evaluating procedures and controls to ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting the wider finance team when required.
The successful Transactional Accountant will possess:
- Fluency in both English and either Chinese or Korean is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and South Korea.
- Proven experience in handling accounts payable responsibilities.
- Experience of managing payment runs in several entities
- Good understanding of local transactional tax requirements
