Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia. An opportunity has become available for a Transfer Station Supervisor, with an enthusiastic, safety conscious attitude to join our team. The role will operate out of our busy Transfer Station site in Mornington VIC.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our Transfer Station site, including the management of site traffic movements and assisting customers with separating waste and recyclables, in order to achieve the Company’s goal of high levels of waste diversion from landfill. You will also be required to Supervise a team of staff, and undertake administration duties and reporting as required.

The successful applicant will:
- Be available to work weekends if necessary
- Hold a current C class drivers licence
- Previous experience in a Supervisory capacity
- Possess excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Have physical fitness;
- Have the ability to understand and adhere to stringent OH&S and environmental policy and procedure, including wearing of appropriate PPE;
- Possess self motivation skills;
The following are desirable (but not essential):
- Current HR/HC heavy vehicle licence;
- Experience and appropriate licencing to operate plant, including excavators and front end loaders;
- Previous experience in a similar role within the waste industry.
