About the position

Based in our Whyalla office and reporting to the Regional Director, Commerical, the Transhipment Manager (Whyalla) will be responsible for being the point of contact for the customers operational requirements as well as manage subcontractors.

Other responsibilities include;

  • Proactively participate in safety initiatives supported by CSL Australia and the "Our Way Forward" program;
  • Warehouse Management including dispatch/receive of stock and mail;
  • Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with the customer and internal CSL departments as required;
  • Ensure Transhipping documents are uploaded to the transhipping system by the relevant departments;
  • Provide Input to the Transhipper scheduling and capacity planning;
  • Document control for tonnage, spares and stock, site access requirements and maintain required inventory;
  • Assist the Vessel Manager as required;
  • Attend site as required for operational needs.

About you

  • Minimum Undergraduate relevant courses
  • Min 5+ years operational experience (ship or shore)
  • Good maritime knowledge
  • Management experience
  • Good ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Customer Focus
