You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.As a Transmission Lines Engineer, you will provide technical support in delivering key solutions for our clients and deliver quality project outcomes on time and in approved budget. Along with this, you will lead designs including PLS-CADD modelling, design of structures for transmission line projects for a range of internal and external stakeholders. - Deliver solutions to clients in the overhead transmission & distribution market and support on the generation and industrial HV sector.
- Demonstrate your transmission line industry and project leadership experience.
- Adhere to Australian and International standards relevant to Overhead transmission line design, testing and commissioning.
- Utilise your experience within PLS-CADD software including TOWER and POLE.
- Demonstrate your knowledge of the life cycle of Transmission Lines from planning through to construction, operation and maintenance.
- Provide guidance to junior members of staff.
- Develop relationships with clients to secure new opportunities.
- Provide technical support to the client's operations by suggesting improvements and upgrades, and promoting innovation, safety and sustainability.
- Comply with all role specific Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) obligations.
- Ensure that confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times.
- University degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional experience in a related discipline.
- Ability to work effectively and competently with people at all levels, internal and external to the organisation.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Word/Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational ability to optimise and prioritise conflicting demands in a busy environment, to achieve deadlines and see responsibilities through to completion.
