As our Transmission Live Linesperson or Barehand Live Linesperson, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know.
What you’ll bring

  • Qld Electrical licence (Linesperson/Transmission)
  • Current LVR & CPR Certification
  • High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
  • A current ‘HR’ Class drivers licence
  • Dogging and advanced Rigging certificates are desirable.
Noting that Powerlink will support you in acquiring some of these on the job.
We’d also love you to have:
  • Demonstrated experience working on Transmission line equipment rated up to 330 kV with 500kV coming soon.
  • A background in safely maintaining, constructing and operation of Transmission line equipment using both live and dead techniques with a Transmission, or large-scale Contractor organisation
  • The ability to travel to remote locations and work closely with team members, you also will enjoy variety in your work, complex problem solving, plus have a passion for providing high quality outcomes.
