As a Transport Operations Administrator within our centralised team at Berrinba QLD , you'll provide essential and broad administrative support to the Transport Operations and management team with all operational activities, to help ensure that we run smoothly day-to-day.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Complete routine and ad-hoc data entry of driver worksheets / diaries in our systems
- Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks related to transportation operations
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to transportation operations
- Focus on compliance support (Chain of Responsibility) for the transport function
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and driver schedules.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate has experience in a transport administration role. Alternatively, we'd be happy to hear from those with a background in general administration. You should also have:
- Good communication, customer service, time management and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data entry
- Intermediate ability in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems and technologies
- Bonus: experience in manifesting.
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
