Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.

The Transport Operations SupervisorLine Haul is responsible for managing the daily activities of transport staff and overseeing the movement of goods and materials; successfully developing and implementing operational procedures that help optimise efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

What you will be doing…

  • Developing relationships with clients to grow the overall availability of freight/ loads and to ensure truck utilisation is maximised.
  • Identifying new client opportunities and working with management to follow up and obtain new business from those opportunities.
  • Providing quotes to customers and assesing the viability of loading for vehicles.
  • Communicating load plans with clients to ensure service levels maintained.
  • Overseeing Transport Operations including scheduling and routing for drivers and vehicles.
  • Ensuring that drivers are adhering to safety standards and following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Preparing and maintaining records and reports related to transport activities, such as vehicle inspections, driver logs and fuel usage.
  • Communicating with clients, customers, and team members to ensure smooth Transport Operations.
  • Monitoring transport costs and financial performance, implementing cost-saving measures where possible.

Do you have…

  • Previous experience working in a Transport Operations Supervisor role in the Transport industry (ideally Line Haul experience), or equivalent experience.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and professionally across departments.
