What does the job look like?
We are currently seeking a HR truck driver with proven experience in the transportation industry to fulfill a crucial role in delivering alcohol to various stores and venues across the Laverton metro area. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to perform a combination of manual unloading and using a pallet jack to unload cases of beer and kegs. This opportunity entails day shifts, commencing promptly at 6:00 am on weekdays, with occasional weekend commitments during peak times. The deliveries will commence from our Bevchain Distribution Centre in Laverton. Key areas:

• Driving to Linfox Safety Standards and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus.
• Safely and efficiently performing deliveries to local bar and Bottle shops.
• Accurately completing and collecting all required documentation.
• Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner.
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

Are you the one?
You can demonstrate:

• Ability to drive an articulated vehicle - 4.2T Prime-mover with customised trailer
• Current and valid HR licence.
• Familiarity with the Melbourne metro area.
• Responsible manual handling experience.
• Pallet Jack experience highly regarded.
• Load restraint experience required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills
