We are seeking part-time Travel Assistants. The role of Travel Assistant is to provide support to our Travel Consultants, ensuring that PHT is delivering on our service promise and client expectations. This role is ideal for those wanting to re-enter the travel industry or those that are looking to step away from a Travel Consultant role but would still like to stay in the travel industry.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Consultant support, including but not limited to:
Compilation of documents
Entry of client data, itinerary and finance segments into mid office system
GDS reservations and booking maintenance functions - Communication with suppliers, clients and colleagues
- General Administration duties
Experience and skills required:
- a minimum of 2 years experience in leisure travel.
- proficient in the use of SABRE or similar GDS.
- experience in use of a mid-office system.
- keen interest in travel.
- team oriented.
- excellent time management.
- strong client service ethic and problem-solving skills.
- attention to detail.
