The Role
Southern Secrets is in need of an event planner/organiser to coordinate boutique holidays for high end travellers from French-speaker countries. Our unique customers require constant attention and care to have their needs met with luxury services.
Our team delivers high end holiday experiences and event planning services for our unique customers. This position is for someone to join our team and share our dedication and passion for travelling and unforgettable events that shape life.
The role will involve planning, organizing and supervising the delivering of all the requirements for multiple events within each client's Australian travel experience (wedding anniversary, honey moon, birthday party, accomodation, transport, events locations…).
Key Responsabilities:

  • Responding to inquiries concerning high end travel services provided and costs
  • Discuss with travellers and suppliers to highlight their needs and outlining package options to answer these needs with high quality services
  • Arranging and coordinating very customised and targeted services, such as activities, advice, guided tours, accomodation, transport, accommodation, main events and celebration as honey moon, wedding, anniversary…
  • Organising registration of participants for private events
  • Plan events and negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within timelines
  • Controlling suppliers and contractors work and reporting on variations to work orders
You:
  • Have past experiences in events organisation and travel experiences
  • Are proficient in french and english (high level)
  • Are independant and very well organised
  • Have perfect and outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Have a very strong problem-solving ability
  • Are graduates with a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • Have a proven track record of organising successful events
  • Have a proven track record in customer relationships
  • Have skills in MS Office
  • Have excellent vendor management skills
  • Have the ability to remain calm under pressure
