The Role
Successful candidates will be required to attend our Bondi Junction office a couple of days per week.
Our consultants are highly trained specialists who love nothing more than creating itineraries that will provide lifelong memories, while offering the highest level of service and sales support. We are looking for people passionate about not only their destination, but who also strive to build unique custom itineraries focusing on our core values; sustainability; responsible travel; wildlife, and authentic cultural experiences.
We are currently seeking consultants to join our teams of "South America” Destination Experts. As a member of this team, you will be given full support and training to become a Destination Expert, including the opportunity to travel to destination and experience our products first-hand.
Based out of our Bondi Junction head office (hybrid), key responsibilities will include;
- Work together with our travel agent partners and guests providing consistently high levels of sales and service support
- Address queries in an efficient manner in a multi-channel contact centre environment
- Service our customers from start to finish, organizing everything from flights, tours, pre and post accommodation, and everything in between
- Maintain a high level of systems, destination, and product knowledge, completing all relevant training updates
- Take note of customer and agent feedback and relay to management to assist in the continuous improvement process
- Work a flexible roster – includes occasional Saturdays
About you
Your passion for travel gained through personal experience and knowledge and ability to relay this to our guests is essential for your success. You’ll be an excellent communicator and building strong relationships will come naturally.
You will also;
- Bring strong customer service skills and experience preferably gained through working in a sales driven environment
- Demonstrate strong destination knowledge and/or a passion for destination and willingness to learn
- Display high level of organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Possess a flexible approach to work with changing demands along with a solution focused mindset
- Be proficient across the Microsoft suite and have the ability to pick up new systems with ease
Candidates with consultancy knowledge and experience will be highly regarded.
