As an experienced sales professional, you will contribute to a growing business by leveraging your travel knowledge, selling preferred products, and building strong relationships with local community members.
About the Job
Working in a small team you will:
- Engage with clients to understand their travel aspirations, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during travel, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with vendors, airlines, hotels, and tour operators to ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Use in-house platforms and global distribution systems to book and confirm travel arrangements.
- Assist customers with further bookings whilst on journey or make alternative travel arrangements.
About you
- Proven experience as a sales consultant, preferably within the travel industry.
- Proficiency in booking systems and software (Sabre highly regarded).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets and service objectives.
- Passion for travel, curiosity about different cultures, and a willingness to go above and beyond to create memorable experiences for clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in travel and tourism are advantageous.
