Our client, a distinguished government entity, seeks a proficient individual to manage travel operations efficiently, ensuring compliance with governmental policies and regulations.
Exciting Opportunity: Join us as a Travel Officer and become a key player in shaping travel experiences within the Australian Government framework! Your mission: offer expert advice, craft engaging policies, and ensure seamless travel operations. From guiding travelers to fine-tuning procedures, you'll be at the heart of it all, driving impactful change and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining tickets being logged and inbox
- Provide expert advice on domestic and international travel policies, ensuring alignment with WoAG and departmental standards.
- Offer high-level guidance to travelers based on the Travel Policy and Travel Regulation manual.
- Prepare and analyze travel data for regular and ad hoc reports.
- Develop and update work instructions for travel processes and procedures.
- Maintain and update travel intranet pages and disseminate relevant information through business bulletins.
- Handle travel queries via shared inbox and helpdesk phone.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly briefs and contribute to business planning and improvements.
- Support administrative tasks for Concur and Credit Card Team.
- Perform general administration tasks on internal and external systems.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Proficiency in expense and finance management systems such as Concur and TechOne.
- Familiarity with travel management systems including CTM.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and data analysis.

Experience Profile:
- Previous experience in Travel Policies, Regulation, and legislation in either private or government sectors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Whole of Government Travel Service Arrangements.
- Hands-on experience with Concur, TechOne, CTM, Visalink, Travel Pack, MS Word, Excel, and data analysis tools.
