The Reimbursement Specialist primary responsibility will review and process reimbursements for patients/caregiver enrolled in the Patient Travel Program. The role ensures reimbursements are completed in a timely manner utilizing the appropriate platforms. Other miscellaneous functions will include project setup activities, patient onboarding, etc.
- Review, QC, and approve reimbursements submitted to Elligo by patients/caregivers within a 72-96 hour window of reimbursement submission
- Onboarding new patients/caregiver into internal platforms.
- Travel program review with new patients and sites as needed.
- Issuing RealTime cards to patients/caregivers and site coordinators.
- Monitoring US and outside of US (OUS) pending reimbursement requests.
- Processing US/OUS reimbursements for patients and caregivers.
- Working with Travel Program Specialists on US/OUS site communication to confirm study visits as needed.
- Communication with the project manager regarding approval requests as needed.
- Supporting the Travel Program Specialists in utilizing Ring Central for incoming/outbound calls as needed.
- Setting necessary tasks outlined in the project guidance document within Salesforce.
- Ensuring tasks for all travel projects are being completed via Salesforce.
- Completing the tasks described in the project guidance document within the appropriate timeline.
- ·Accurately report hours worked on individual projects into NetSuite daily; submit the weeks reported hours every Friday.
- Monitoring and maintaining group distribution email inbox.
- 100% compliance with Travel Program Guidance documents.
- Must be compliant with IRB, GCP, and HIPPA guidelines.
- Minimum of 80% utilization.
- Attend internal study meetings to review projects and accept delegated tasks.
- Responsible for entering all daily applicable time into Netsuite.
2-4 years of experience in a customer-services based role
