About the Role
The Treasury & International Operations Department is a small, highly specialised and efficient department, which works closely with the Treasury, Accounting Departments and the Retail Network. The department specialises in the confirmation, settlement and reconciliation of Treasury transactions, domestic and international telegraphic transfers and international trade settlements. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: - Processing all requests accurately and within a timely manner - Liaise with the various departments as required to ensure accurate payment information is obtained and payments are processed. - Report outstanding payments to Team Leader. - Demonstrate a pro-active approach to servicing our clients and ensure that all service level requirements are met. - Provide support to other team members and assist in the efficient daily processing of all transactions via SWIFT and Calypso - Provide value added, technically proficient support to key customers. - Daily processing of all Treasury money market and derivatives ensuring accurately confirmed (within 1 hour of deal being struck), settled and reconciled by the required deadlines. - Prepare physical settlement of transactions by the required deadline and obtain sign-off of accounting entities - Ensure all outward AUD telegraphic transfers from SWIFT have settled within cut off times.
About you
The successful candidate for this role will bring approximately 1 year experience in a treasury environment within banking. You will have an understanding of payments and bring experience using SWIFT software. You will also have demonstrable experience working in a fast paced, tight deadline environment where you are able to work with high attention to detail.
