About the Role
We are looking for an energetic, hands-on and experienced Crew Leader who takes pride in there work and provides exceptional customer service.
This role will start as a casual position moving to a full time position for the right person.
Your duties will include:
- Being responsible for the crew meeting or exceeding the company’s safety standards and promoting safety at all times.
- Understanding and initiating the company’s equipment and preventative maintenance program;
- Understanding the efficient and safe use of all equipment used in the pursuit of maximum production;
- Having the ability to communicate your knowledge to all field personnel, and maintain clear and direct communication with the office for each job;
- Assisting with training and developing new employees,
- Completing site risk assessments for each property, anticipate and point out hazards that may arise
- Understanding basic tree surgery practices, herbicide applications, maintenance procedures, safe removal of trees, and pruning of trees in and around residential properties.
To be successful for the position, you must be physically fit, willing to work hands-on in a dedicated team environment, and have a minimum of two years’ experience as a supervisor in the tree industry.
Other tickets and qualifications that will be highly regarded on application are:
- Manual Car License (essential)
- MR Truck license.
- First Aid & CPR certificate
- Any certifications in Arboriculture
