Summary:

• $29.27/ hour + 11% Super + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging to boost take home pay

• Fixed term till 28/6/2024, full time hours (37.5hrs per week)

• Mon – Fri 6.30am to 2.30pm with 30 mins unpaid meal break

• occasional overtime may be required

• Location: Campbellfield VIC and greater metropolitan Melbourne

Truck Driver – Diabetes Victoria

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver with a Medium Rigid Victorian Driver’s licence to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting donations of clothing & household items and delivering them to the designated location around Melbourne. This is done in a reliable and efficient manner while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Medium Rigid truck safely and efficiently at all times.

• Load and unload items using appropriate safety equipment & correct manual handling procedures.

• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, and other team members.

• Report any maintenance issues promptly.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

• Valid commercial driver's license (Medium Rigid) Minimum of 3 years of experience.

• Clean driving record - VicRoads 5 Year Driver History Check and Police Check.

• Ability to operate and maintain an automatic truck using GPS navigation and data entry via a tablet (supplied).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Physical ability to load and unload items.
