Symons Clark Logistics is a family owned, Port Adelaide, South Australian based transport and logistics company. Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide Bulk Haulage.
Due to recent growth in our Bulk Haulage business, we are looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver based in Adelaide or Melbourne.
Do you have…
- MC License.
- Demonstrated MC experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of CoR, Mass and Fatigue Management.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
We are always on the lookout for drivers with experience with…
- Bulk Tippers (grain or similar).
- Truck and Dog.
- Geelong/Portland Port Card(s).
- BFM Accreditation.
Information you need to know…
- Successful applicants will be required to provide an AFTD driving medical.
- We provide on-the-job training for successful applicants who don't have Tipper and/ or Grain experience.
- Positions can be adapted to suit individuals with a range of work form short haul transfer work to long distance interstate runs across SA, VIC, NSW and QLD.
- Applicants should have a sound knowledge of chain of responsibility and on road legal compliance and a willingness to work with GPS technology is required.
- Flexibility in being away overnight during the week and working occasional weekends throughout peak periods of the year is essential.
- Consistent weekend work available for applicants looking for additional work.
