A national plasterboard supply company is seeking experienced MR drivers to work with their close-knit team in Fyshwick. Due to their heavy workload, they are looking for Truck Drivers to start immediately.
Your new role
As a Truck Driver, you'll be required to:
Drive the MR truck from the warehouse to various job sites across ACT and surrounds
Physically load and unload plasterboard and other building materials with the assistance of offsiders, who will travel in the truck with you to sites.
Be professional and polite when liaising with site contacts
Have a strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position, you'll need:
A medium-rigid truck license or higher, with minimum 6 months driving experience
A current White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness card
This role involves manual handling of large items, you'll need to be physically fit, capable and willing to complete such tasks
An up-to-date resume including your experience and relevant licenses
