Tradecore Industries is a family owned people focused business providing mobile and fixed maintenance, heavy plant assembly and relocations, contract trade labour supply to the heavy construction and mining industries. Operating two fully equipped and modern Light Vehicle workshops in Singleton and Muswellbrook, Tradecore specialise in mine support including vehicle servicing, labour and equipment hire and vehicle upgrades.
About the opportunity
Tradecore Industries currently has an exciting new position available for a professional, experienced and well-presented Driver who can deliver outstanding and reliable service for our customers to join our professional team.Based in the Hunter Valley, you will become a key component helping to provide quality and professional servicing, repairs and maintenance to our clients and customers. Your duties will include but not be limited to;
- Drive our 3-car carrier and tilt tray in a safe manner.
- Load and transport vehicles from our various workshops to and from client’s facilities.
- Provide a high standard of customer service
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and daily maintenance on our trucks.
- Work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
- Perform duties with limited supervision.
- Detail cars to the Tradecore standard when required.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to work health and safety standards.
- Represent Tradecore to our clients
- A medical including a full drug test will be completed prior to the confirmation of your employment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Applicants MUST hold a full valid heavy ridged (HR) or greater NSW/Australian drivers licence
- Be customer service orientated.
- Maintain Tradecore and our client’s standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- The ability to work unsupervised and independently, as well as in a team.
- Good communication capability.
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A professional approach to their work
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Hold a current tilt tray operator’s license
- Mining related exposure;
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates would be highly regarded;
- Reside in the Hunter Valley region or be willing to relocate;
- Light vehicle mechanical trade (or similar).
- RTA print out of driving history
- Ability to travel over night if required
- Forklift licence
- Dogging ticket
