Truck Driver, your role will involve the pickup, transportation, and delivery of containers and freight to third party customers and clients, depots, and various Qube customers. Your motivation coupled with your attention to detail will see all tasks completed efficiently, safely, and on time.
About The Role- Complete all necessary associated documentation
- Take good care of vehicles / plant under your care
- Ensure compliance with all safety, fatigue, heavy vehicle operating guide lines, loading requirements, axle weights, adhering to vehicle specific permits
- Operate fridge vans, containers and taut liners.
- Unload and load each combination for one of our linehaul drivers to take the equipment to Melbourne
- May be required to transport loads to / from, either Horsham, Bordertown or Naracoorte
About youTo be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following;
- Multi-Combination (MC) License
- Experience in operating Fridge Vans / Taut liners and Containers
- Excellent Driving Record
- BFM Accreditation
- Physically Fit
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards, Heavy vehicle legislation and permitting standards
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Good reversing skills onto loading docks
- MISC Card or the ability to successfully apply for one
- Well versed in the current Road Networks to Adelaide and above Regional Locations
