Position: Truck Driver Trainer/Assessor
Location: Outer Harborr, SA
Status: Full Time
Duties
- Comply with Qube Health Safety and Sustainability, and Learning Policies and supporting procedures
- Maintain a safe, professional and open environment for learning
- Liaise with Operational Management, Planner / Schedulers and Shift Supervisors to schedule delivery of required training
- Complete training and assessment as per the Training Needs Analysis
- Deliver training and assessment in a manner that is clear and easy to understand for the participants
- Complete training and assessment attendance, progress and completion records
- Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of all training material
- Aid new starter site recruitment
- Liaise with external providers to analyze and deliver new starters to operational areas
- Monitor skill development and identify induction/training/assessment needs appropriately, including re training and re induction where required
- Mentor trainees and learners to assist in the achievement of progress towards competency in training undertaken
- Complete weekly reports based on set process documents and meetings with internal stakeholders
- Meaure safety and financial metrics based on R&M costs and continued fleet improvement
- Manage buddy trainers in accordance with Qube guidelines
- A Heavy Vehicle License with experience in the Transport Industry
- Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law (NHVL)
- Training/Auditing Qualifications
- Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety would be well regarded
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point
- Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
- Work collaboratively and harmoniously as a part of a team
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
