Form of workDuties:
- Operation of company vehicles and equipment
- Local & rural deliveries and collections as required
- Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
- Safe loading and unloading of vehicles
- Customer service - face to face and phone
- Daily run/route management and time management
- Triage and prioritise conflicting schedules
- Maintain a level of fitness required for safe operation of vehicles
- Cleaning and maintaining a sanitary and presentable workspace/vehicle.
- Additional tasks as required
About you:
- You will hold a valid (unrestricted) NT MR or HR drivers licence
- Have a willingness to supply your driving history and to apply for other background checks as required (Police clearance/ASIC/DCAC)
- Be physically fit and capable to move in and out of vehicles regularly. Willing to participate in pre screening (medicals/Drug and alcohol screening)
- You will have a working knowledge of the Darwin and rural areas
- Experienced in a similar role
- Forklift licence AND experience HIGHLY regarded
- Crane experience highly regarded!
- You are reliable and committed to doing your best everyday
