ROC Consulting is proud to be recruiting for one of Australia's most respected crane and major transport providers. As global business, they service industries such as mining, oil & gas, construction, renewables and more.
Their large fleet of specialised trucks, trailers, mobile, crawler, franna cranes, and support vehicles are available on either wet or dry hire and have the capacity to service simple to the most complex lifting and transportation jobs imaginable.
The Role
We're currently looking for a qualified tradesperson to join the business in a Truck/ Trailer Mechanic role. Based out of the workshop & office in Maddington, this role will be responsible for the service & maintenance of the fleet of vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
- Workshop + field based scheduled maintenance
- Major and minor repair works
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical & hydraulic faults
- High level fault finding and diagnostics
This is a standard Monday to Friday role, with optional Saturday work available. Regular overtime hours available as well, all paid at standard overtime penalty rates.
The Benefits
- $45/hr - $50/hr + super + overtime
- Standard 50-hour week | 38hrs standard and 12hrs overtime + regular additional overtime

The business is willing to provide regular upskilling and training for the right candidate.
The Candidate
We're looking for qualified Technicians with experience in cranes.
Required criteria include:
- Experience working on trucks, trailers, diesel engines or any mobile plant machinery
- Strong technical hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and diagnostics skills.
- Hard work ethic
- Ability to work autonomously and safely.
