Velocity Global is a privately owned transport and logistics company specializing in refrigerated freight. Beginning in 2011 with one truck the business has grown rapidly to provide logistic services to some of Australia’s largest food and beverage manufacturers across the eastern seaboard with more than 600 vehicles and 300 employees.
We are currently searching for a talented Truck Wash Attendant to support us with maintaining our fleet and adhering to our company standards.
About the Role:
- Responsible of ensuring that any trucks and trailers leaving the depot are clean and presentable.
- Full detailing of the inside & outside of the trucks & trailers.
- Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay area.
- Some basic yard or shed work as required.
- Work completed in open and wet areas.
About You:
- Previous detailing experience in the heavy vehicle industry or similar role desirable
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Commitment to working in a safe manner.
- Must be willing to adhere to HL D&A policy including pre-employment and random D&A test.
- Have no restrictions with visa working rights.
- Forklift License desirable.
- Have own transport to attend work.
