Tasks and responsibilities
- Tyre fitment and balancing for a variety of vehicles
- Removing and replacing tyres
- Diagnosing tyre damage & wear
- Performing puncture repairs in line with relevant standards
- Adhering to WH&S practices on a daily basis
- Liaising with drivers and owners of a variety of truck, tractor and earthmoving equipment
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with tyre-fitting, repairs and balancing
- Current (manual) Australian Drivers Licence
- MR Licence - well-regarded but not essential
- Car wheel alignment - well-regarded but not essential
- Familiarity with and commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Strong communication, time management and prioritisation skills
