About the Role
The Saraji mine is an open pit coal mine located near Dysart in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people and is one of Australia's largest mines.
We are currently seeking safety-focused Tyre Fitters to join the team at the Saraji Tyre Bay. Working a 7/7 day/night roster and reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, you will be responsible for both planned and breakdown tyre fitting and inspections on some of the biggest mining trucks in the world, as well as ancillary equipment and light vehicles.
About You
- Australian-recognised Qualification - Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology
- Demonstrated experience working as a Tyre Fitter, ideally in a mining environment
- Valid C class drivers’ licence
- A strong commitment to safety
