As part of our ongoing growth journey, we have an exciting opportunity for an Undergraduate Accountant to join our Accounting Team, working approximately 3 days per week.
About you:
To be successful in this position you need to have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to learn. You should demonstrate a high attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and work well in a team environment.
This role would suit someone over halfway through studying for a Commerce and/or Accounting Degree who would like to gain a head start in their professional career whilst completing their studies. Flexibility around study commitments will be provided.
About the role:
As an Undergraduate Accountant you’ll take part in an induction that exposes you to the Accounting team’s systems and procedures and a structured training program focused on mentoring and developing your commercial acumen and technical skills.
The major responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns;
- Preparation of periodic management accounts and BAS;
- Bookkeeping tasks;
- Provision of accurate and timely financial, taxation and business advisory services to clients.
