The role
The Undergraduate Engineer is responsible for the provision of engineering services in areas that may include: engineering design, detailing, documentation, proposal preparation, field investigation, data collation, analysis and reporting.
The holder of this position will also develop skills in project management, co-ordination, communication with contractors, suppliers and other industry personnel, expediting, scheduling, cost control and marketing SMEC’s services to clients.
The Undergraduate Engineer will undertake engineering tasked of limited scope and complexity under supervision. The incumbent will role model SMEC values, ethics and code of conduct and ensure all business activities are carried out in accordance with these guiding principles.
Specially, the Undergraduate Engineer ITS&E will be undertaking required tasks set by the ITS&E team commensurate to the role.
