Underground Charge Up - 2/2 roster

Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

On behalf of one of our valued clients we are seeking experienced Underground Charge Up for 2/2 rosters at 2 different sites.

These positions are temp to perm with our clients with potential for career progression.

Interstate candidates willing to meet the charter in Perth at own expense welcome to apply. 

Duties:

1. Charging development headings and production stopes - ANFO
2. Handling and transporting explosive materials in a safe manner.
3. Operate IT (Integrated Tool Carrier) and Light Vehicles.
4. Assisting in other areas as required.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

• WA Shot firers licence ESSENTIAL
• ANFO experience in Production AND Development ESSENTIAL
• Normet Charge Wagon and IT experience.
• DGSC
• Working at Heights
• A National Police Clearance under 6 months will be required.
• Manual Drivers Licence 
• A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.
• Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test, at our expense not yours.

• Excellent casual hourly rate plus super on all hours. Pay rate is dependent on client and site. Happy to advise upon application.
• 12 hour shifts
• Weekly pays.
• Roles are FIFO from Perth only.
• Short travel time to site.
• Ongoing roles with our clients after a short labour hire period.
