Underground OHS advisor

OHS Advisor - 3 to 6 month - 8/6 roster - Goldfields region

Your new company 

Global gold producer with multiple mine operations in WA who are highly reputable in the industry and possess strong company values. Their operation consists of a mixture of surface and underground pits enabling them to offer variety and career development. 

Your new role 

Temporary position from 3 to 6 months with 12 hours per day with opportunity for FIFO as well as residential in Kalgoorlie.

As an Underground OHS advisor, you will report to the OHS manager assisting with the management and maintenance of the site standards and operating procedures. Your duties will include: 

• Conduct site inductions as well as delivering OHS related reports and communication.
• Assessing risks and investigate on-site incidents.
• Complete inspections and ensure compliance with ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
• Quickly handle non-conformances/non compliance of site or department standards.  

What you'll need to succeed 

As the underground OHS Advisor, you will need the following experience and qualifications to successfully perform the duties.

• Previous experience underground and relevant OHS qualification
• Current Driver’s Licence 
• Familiar with ICAM methodology preferred
• A TAE40113 certificate would be beneficial.
