Underground Shift Supervisor

About the Opportunity:We are currently seeking experienced Shift Supervisors for various projects working 7:7 & 2:2 rosters, FIFO from Perth and Kalgoorlie Residential/DIDO options.
Your key duties will be to oversee the daily operations of underground mining crews and equipment and ensure that the production targets are achieved in a safe manner. Furthermore you will conduct tool box meetings, carry out inspections and provide training as required.

The Role:

• Oversee the daily operation of underground crew and equipment
• Development & Production Supervisor roles
• Conduct tool box meetings, carry out inspections and provide training
• Liaise with any contractors on site, ensuring their work is coordinated with other mining activities
• Ensure all key targets are achieved in a safe and cost effective timely manner
• People management and positive, pro-active leadership are key criteria for this position

The Requirements:

• WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate
• Valid Manual Drivers License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol Screen
• National Police Clearance valid within last 6 months
