Red 5 Darlot are currently seeking a qualified Underground Trainers/Assessor to join their Safety and Training Team at Darlot Gold Mine in the Eastern Goldfields.
Reporting to the Safety & Training Coordinator, you will be responsible to provide training and assessment across underground and surface mining operations.
You will be someone who takes pride in producing high quality work and ownership of their remit. Applicants should be solutions focused and be able to communicate confidently and clearly across all levels.
The role is offered on an 14 Days on, 14 days off rotating roster FIFO from Perth.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Be influential in establishing and maintaining a high level of training systems within a growing business and be able to actively work and collaborate with the site team
- Review and conduct onsite training of personnel;
- Maintain training matrix data;
- Facilitate onsite UG inductions;
- Continuously, and where required develop training packages and other critical training documentation to ensure compliance;
- Coordinate and execute training and assessment in accordance with Training standards and site specific training plan.
- Undertake field observations for performance of personal operating procedures.
- Competent in operating various underground equipment
- Develop and maintain the InTuition training management system to ensure training records are accurate
- Demonstrated experience in an underground Training position;
Essential to be Successful:
- Have a Cert IV in Training and Assessing;
- Have computer skills and experience in training management platforms and Microsoft Office;
- Be proactive and have strong communication skills
