We are seeking physically fit individuals to join our Banana Prawn Season Unload Crew from 3 April 2024 based in Karumba in the Gulf of Carpentaria Queensland.
- Travel to Karumba from Cairns will be provided, so too will accommodation and food whilst working in Karumba.
These are casual positions for a period of up to 4 weeks, with the unloading of vessels happening generally in the afternoon and evenings.
Your duties will include:
- Manually unloading product from Prawn Trawlers
- Repetitive lifting of loads (up to 25kg)
- Working productively to strict timeframes
- Obeying safety rules in warehouse environments
Successful candidates will possess the following:
- Previous experience in manual labouring (desirable)
- PPE (hi vis shirt)
- A sense of urgency and good reliability
- Can do attitude
