About the role
We are hiring multiple Care Service Employee to work at Gumleigh Gardens, based in Wagga Wagga, NSW . You will make a difference to our consumers by facilitating positive health and wellbeing options for individuals, their families, and carers.
Duties will include (but not limited to): -
- Provision of a wide range of Person-Centered Care duties
- Assistance with medication (if you are competent) and wound dressing
- Assistance in daily living activities
- Working with each resident to continue to do the things they love
We are also willing to invest in training and offer you all the support in order to succeed in your role.
What you bring
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or working towards)
- The ability to provide a wide range of person-centred care duties
- A desire and willingness to work with each resident to empower them to continue to do the things that they love
- Care skills that are driven by compassion
- Experience in Aged Care desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player who is highly motivated
- Availability to work various shifts across various days

Pre-Employment Screening
The successful candidate is required to have completed/willingness to undertake the following:-
- Vaccinated (at least 2 doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine) in accordance with UPA’s vaccination policy. Alternatively, you may submit a medical contraindication certificate for UPA’s consideration.
