Purdon has 4 work streams: Statutory & Strategic Planning, Community Engagement, Development Management, and Strategy & Economics.
Our team is growing and we provide opportunities to work on large and small projects in the ACT, NSW, Victoria and Queensland.
Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in urban planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, development management OR government compliance, government regulation, legal or paralegal work.
- Very strong English reading and writing skills are essential.
- GIS, CAD and data analytics skills are an advantage.
- Some familiarity with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign or an ability to learn new platforms quickly, would be advantageous.
- Good project management and analytical skills.
- Must be a good team member.
- Must be an Australian citizen or currently have a visa to work in Australia.
Tasks & responsibilities
- The ability to undertake statutory and strategic planning work and/or the ability to learn quickly based on experience with similar work.
- Other planning, project, development, property or administrative related tasks as required from time to time.
- Work collaboratively within a friendly, professional environment.
