About this positionThe City is excited to present a rare opportunity for a passionate IT Support and Training Officer to join our dynamic IT Service Delivery Team. This role is tailor-made for individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, advanced technical support, and comprehensive training to City staff.As the face of our Information Services branch, you will play a pivotal role in offering both level 1 and level 2 helpdesk support. Our diverse organisation spans from busy libraries and our friendly corporate offices to mechanical workshops, an enriching museum, and beyond, providing a rich and varied workplace.As a dedicated professional with a deep understanding of technology-centred training, you will be responsible for designing and delivering both engaging educational classroom sessions and personalized one-on-one coaching. Your efforts will be crucial in fostering digital literacy across the City as we embrace and integrate Modern Workplace technologies. What we are looking forTo be successful you must be able to demonstrate:Significant experience in course development and Training delivery.Experience in providing frontline IT support for end user devices and software.High level of communication skills, and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of people.Ability to think strategically in order to deliver creative solutions.Proven ability to multi-task effectively, under minimal supervision. Possession of relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Systems would be an advantage. Essential requirementsCurrent driver's licence.Current National Police Clearance (less than three months old).
