- Kalgoorlie Goldfields based position
- Main role is Vacuum Loader Operation and UHP / HP water blasting duties
Some of the Duties;
- General vacuum loading & disposal works
- Ultra & High Pressure water jetting (coatings removal & general asset cleaning)
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Working up to 84 hours per week on remote sites
Skills and Experience
- HR Drivers License (Mandatory)
- National Police Clearance (Mandatory)
- Working at Heights (Mandatory)
- Working In A Confined Space (Mandatory)
- Right to Work in Australia (Mandatory)
- EWP & Forklift High Risk License (Preferred)
- UHP water jetting accreditation (Preferred)
For the right candidates, GPC will assist in obtaining qualifications
To be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in a similar role is desirable
- A genuine commitment to safety and achieving a high standard in works
- Ability to work away on remote sites
- Flexibility to meet schedules (working longer or shorter stints as needed to meet client requirements)
- Be a Team player with a keenness to perform multiple tasks as directed
- Physically fit with ability to pass a pre-employment medical within site access parameters, including a drug and alcohol screen
- Experience in carrying out the below tasks is highly desirable;
- Vacuum loading
- Ultra High Pressure water jetting
Whilst FI/FO will be considered, preference will be given to candidates who reside within the Kalgoorlie region and who have Ultra High Pressure water jetting accreditation.
