THE POSITION:
We currently have a number of vacancies available for casual positions working at Sydney Airport. You will be assisting high-end customers upon their arrival and provide Customer Service by parking and retrieving their vehicles. This also includes the general presentations of the car parks and providing 3-dimensional (face-to-face, phone and online) Customer Service.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome customers and offer them professional valet services
- Accommodate customers by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items
- Answer customers questions regarding precinct amenities and other available services
- Collect and accurately label keys belonging to customers to ensure their proper return
- Park customers vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
- Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws
- Organise and file paperwork regarding customers vehicles and daily transactions
- Ensuring the car park remains clean, safe and operates efficiently for customers
- Assist and provide support to the Online Concierge Team with Customer Service and administrative tasks as required or as directed by the site supervisor / manager.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Our ideal applicants will have:
- Previous Customer Service experience (ideally in retail, hospitality or other service industries)
- A genuine passion for providing excellent Customer Service and "can-do" attitude
- Full Australian drivers licence and a clean driving record (must be comfortable to drive a manual)
- Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time
- Accountability and personal integrity are essential as the nature of the position allows access to a client's personal and private information
- Ability to multitask and tend to several customers at once
- Organisational skills are necessary to quickly recall the location of vehicles and their appropriate keys
- Excellent computer literacy
- Immaculate personal presentation and effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work a 24-hours rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays (you must be available atleast 2 days during the week
