Validation Associate

Come and bring your validation knowledge to our Quality team in Parkville (Australia).  Based on site at Parkville you will reporting to the Validation Manager.  In this full-time 18-month fixed term position you will complete validation activities associated with changes to the existing plant, equipment and processes for the Seqirus Australia business. You will also participate in the Parkville site project validation activities as required.  

Working as part of a team, you will also:

• Undertake validation activities in accordance with the Quality Management System, Site Validation Master Plan, Business Improvement and Validation procedures

• Implement and maintain departmental documentation for validation activities and regulatory submissions (i.e. Validation protocols and reports, Executive Summaries and Validation Master Files)

• Maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders

• Participate in problem solving and identify opportunities for improvement to optimise validation activities;

• Ensure all training certification requirements are up-to-date

• Follow the documented procedures to maintain a safe work environment

To be considered for this role you have:

• A relevant science or engineering tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in a regulated environment, ideally gained in the pharmaceutical industry

• 3+ years' experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in a validation, quality assurance or engineering related role

• 3+ years' experience applying validation protocols to systems, processes, cleaning, equipment, and laboratory equipment

• Demonstrated knowledge of GMP, QMS and Risk Management

• Experience communicating complex information including experience in technical writing

• Experience in a role requiring mechanical aptitude.
