But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!
We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Sanitary Services Attendant / Health & Hygiene Technician / Van Driver (specifically male/female washroom waste collection) to service our customers in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
Are you interested in developing a long term career with JJ’s by becoming a professional driver?
Based from our Browns Plains depot, this role will require you to service multiple customer’s sites per day, be focused, honest and reliable.
DUTIES
- Our technicians can service up to 35+ locations per day. These services generally involve servicing Sanitary, Incontinence, Auto Air-Freshener Units and Sharps Wall Safes
- You will engage with customers onsite - these include SME/Large Businesses, Schools, Aged Care Facilities, Child Care Facilities- Local Government Agencies.
- You will be blue carded and require a level of capability to engage with customers face to face.
- To be successful you will require a reasonable standard of fitness - normal day can incorporate up to 5km walking/stairs.
- Services are conducted from modern Service Vans
- Hourly Rate is $31.23
- Our technicians generally complete 38-40 hours per week with start times generally 5.30am at the depot.
ABOUT YOU
- Current C class licence manual open licence is essential
- Comfortable in a customer-facing role; excellent communication.
- Looking for a stable role; essential services!
- Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
- All applications must be accompanied by a 10-year QLD Roads Driving Record at interview stage.
